Story 01 / 08
Lucy is so friendly. She wants to say hi to every person, child, and dog we meet. The problem is she drags me against my will. I really love the front clip harness. She still gets to say hi a lot, but I control where we walk.

It's not your fault — it's where the leash pulls.
BetterWalk™ By Pupster

Most collars and harnesses pull directly on your dog's throat. BetterWalk moves the leash to their chest, spreading the force across their entire body instead of putting it all on their neck.
Why do dogs instantly start pulling when you clip them to a leash?

Because for generations, we bred dogs to drag anything attached to their back—sleds, carts, plows. So the obvious fix is to clip the leash to the front of their chest instead. Now the leash tugs sideways instead of straight ahead, naturally guiding your dog to walk by your side.
When They Lunge, You Stay In Control

You don't need to be stronger than your dog to walk them. With the front-clip design, BetterWalk uses their own momentum to redirect them back to you, so you lead the walk, no matter their size.
Slip it over their head, click the buckle, and go.

No lifting paws, threading legs, or fighting with a mess of straps while your dog is bouncing around. Easy for you to put on, and with adjustable straps and a secure buckle, it's virtually impossible for them to wriggle out of.

Try BetterWalk for 60 full days. Walk your dog with it, wash it, put it through everything. If it's not the best harness you've ever used, send it back for a full refund — no questions asked.

I'm a big guy, so Koopa's pulling isn't really a problem for me, but it is for him. He was pulling so hard he was basically choking himself on his collar. He was coughing nonstop. This is so much better now. There's no pressure on his throat, and he walks right by my side.

Story 03 / 08
I used to spend half the walk pulling my dog away from bushes and trees. Once he caught a scent, he became OBSESSED! Now I still give him some sniffing time using the back clip on the harness, but I switch to the front clip when we're actually walking so he can't drag me anymore.

Story 04 / 08
The second Koby sees the leash… he loses his freaking mind! It's adorable, but it made putting on his old harness impossible. I had to set it on the ground, put both paws in, and make him stand still while I pulled it up and buckled it. It was so frustrating because he would keep jumping around. This one is so much better because it slips over his head and buckles on the side. I can have him ready to go in just a few seconds.

Story 05 / 08
I rescued a Pit Bull mix last year and he's the sweetest thing ever, but now he's way stronger than me. I was having a hard time walking him, especially when he got too excited. This front clip harness has literally changed my life. He can't yank me around anymore, and I really like the handle on the back if I ever need to grab him fast.

Story 06 / 08
I rescued Enzo when he was 7 after he'd spent most of his life on the street. He had zero leash manners. He would just take off in whatever direction he wanted and drag me with him. The front clip has been a huge help. He's still learning, but now I can actually keep him next to me while we walk.

Story 07 / 08
The animal shelter named him Houdini because he's a little escape artist. He'd turn around and pull backward until he wriggled right out of his harness. He has such a weird body shape that I could never get one to fit right. This one adjusts in a bunch of places, so I can fit it to his body and he can't get out anymore.

Story 08 / 08
I love Huskies! I've had them my entire life, but now that I'm 58, it's getting a lot harder for me to walk Zeus. He's actually pulled me down before and really hurt my shoulder. My doctor actually recommended this BetterWalk harness so he can't yank me around anymore. He learned pretty quickly that he can't lunge forward like before, so now he stays by my side. It's so much better.
